Two more boreholes constructed by GFA to improve standard of pitches in Ghana

GFA CONSTRUCTS BOREHOLES

Ghana FA President Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku has commissioned two borehole facilities ready for use at the Nungua town Park and the Teshie MATS Park in the Greater Accra Region.

The home ground of Women’s Premier League side Army Ladies and Danbort FC are the beneficiaries of these projects. These two, add to the number of boreholes that have been constructed for each of the ten football regions across the country. President of the FA Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku was in the company of John Ansah, a member of the Safety and Security Committee and Vice Chairman of the Black Starlets Management Committee as well as Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association.

The provision of boreholes is to uplift the standard and caliber of our pitches and ultimately improving competitions across the country with the Premier League, Division One League, Women’s Premier League and Regional Game played are all expected to benefit from the project.
