Three players have been shortlisted for the NASCO Premier League Player of the Month award for January, following their decisive contributions to their respective clubs’ performances during the month.
The nominees are Christian Agyenim Boateng (FC Samartex 1996), Salim Adams (Medeama SC) and John Antwi (Dreams FC).
Christian Agyenim Boateng (FC Samartex 1996)
Boateng was instrumental in FC Samartex 1996’s strong January run, helping the team maintain their impressive unbeaten streak. He found the back of the net three times in four league matches and delivered consistently high-level performances, earning him two NASCO Player of the Match awards.
Salim Adams (Medeama SC)
Salim Adams enjoyed an excellent month, scoring three goals in five league appearances. His standout moment came in Medeama SC’s 2–1 away comeback victory over Vision FC, where he scored a superb brace. His influence and consistency also saw him claim two NASCO Player of the Match awards.
John Antwi (Dreams FC)
Dreams FC captain John Antwi led by example in January, playing a crucial role in guiding his team away from the relegation zone. He scored three goals in five league matches, including a brace against Vision FC in Dreams FC’s final game of the month.
The eventual winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited, as well as a NASCO double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer.
