Thomas Partey to be sidelined 4-6 weeks

Thomas Partey, a Ghanaian international, has suffered an injury that could keep him off the pitch for up to six weeks.

His English Premier League team, Arsenal, revealed on Sunday that he would be unable to take part in the eagerly awaited encounter against Manchester United. The London-based club revealed Thomas Partey’s groyne injury in a quick social media statement.

According to recent estimates, Thomas Partey might be out for up to six weeks. This would cause him to miss a number of games, including those that Arsenal would play against Everton, Tottenham, Bournemouth, and Manchester City, as well as games in the UEFA Champions League against PSV Eindhoven and Lens.

Mikel Arteta said before the game against Manchester United that, “It doesn’t look good. We need further tests. I believe he’ll be sidelined for a few weeks,” following the game on Sunday.

It’s a huge blow to Arsenal but Mikel Arteta and his men are still focusing on the games ahead of the season
