Thomas Partey dedicates Arsenal’s win to Christian Atsu

Arsenal overcame two goals to win late on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates thanks in large part to their star player.

The 29-year-old was seen revealing a shirt with the words “rest well, Christian Atsu” under his jersey.

Following strikes from Philip Biling and Marcos Senesi for Bournemouth, Partey gave Arsenal hope five minutes after they were behind 2-0.

Prior to Reiss Nelson stealing the victory for Arsenal late in extra time, Ben White restored parity for Arsenal with 20 minutes remaining.
Following Manchester City’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle United earlier in the day, Arsenal now leads Manchester City by five points.
