There has been challenges in the construction of Cyanide astroturf – Benjamin Kessie

Hon Benjamin Kessie who is now the Municipal Chief Executive for Tarkwa has revealed there has been some challenges in the construction of the Cyanide astroturf during an interview on Sekondi-Takoradi based radio station Twincity radio with Alex Adu.

Hon. Benjamin Kessie said some the challenges they are facing are on whether the pitch should be astroturf or green grass and some are even opposing because there is being used as funeral grounds but he believes these are normal challenges that will take a leader to engage the community in coming out with an amicable solution.

He revealed this when he was asked about facing any challenge so far in the projects he is doing during his term in office as an MCE.

“I believe challenges are part of a development process so it will take challenge to be able to solve a problem. There is a debate about the cyanide park on whether it should be astroturf or green grass. Some are even objecting with the reason there is a funeral ground. These challenges are normal but will take a leader to engage the community on every issue that will emerge.”
