‘The Pressure Is On Nigeria’ They Will Feel It – Otto Addo

Blackstars headcoach Otto says ‘pressure’ is now on the Super Eagles as the away goal rule could be an advantage for Ghana.

Ghana drew goalless with Nigeria in the first leg of the World Cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Stadium last Friday.

The Blackstars are searching for their fourth Worldcup tournament and the only team that stands their way is the Super Eagles as a win will see them make it to the Mundial.

“I think the Nigerians saw that we can play as well. They’re not here and we are there.

“Even though the AFCON wasn’t good, I think they got respect.

‘’They have high-quality players but in all it was equal. The pressure will be on them at home. The away goals can hurt a lot.”

Both sides are very much poised to win a slot to be part of the five teams that will represent Africa in Qatar 2022.

Ghana will need to at least get a goal-scoring draw or win to qualify.

Nigeria will host Ghana in the return leg on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
