The football aspirations of 18-year-old Decontee Jackson are fading gradually.

Ambassadors FC has refused to release Decontee Jackson who was approached by Senior Pro since the transfer window. Jackson has sent a letter to the Liberia Football Association since July 2023 and on several occasions citing that she wants to leave and the club is refusing to let her go. The LFA has yet not responded neither her club [Ambassadors FC]

Decontee is currently not playing due to the situation of the transfer saga. She is seen as one of the best female soccer players in Liberia.

She has one season left with Ambassadors but decided not to continue.

The league has started with three (3) games now played in the Womenโ€™s Division.

Jackson who scored 38 goals last season made it clear that she wants to leave the club during the transfer window. Senior Pro FC made an offer reportedly of around 300,000 LD to sign the young female professional star. She was interested in joining Senior Pro but Ambassadors refused to respond to the offer after the player opted that she wanted to leave the club.

Decontee Jackson

Decontee Jackson has been nominated two times in roll for the Liberia Football Associationโ€™s MVP.

She is known for her goal-scoring milestone. In 2020-2021, she scored 34 goals. 2021-2022, she finished as the top scorer in the Womenโ€™s Division with 38 goals. She was called to train with the Womenโ€™s senior national team before the match against Cape Verde in the AFCON Qualifiers but due to her school, the coach decided to release her from the squad.

The two-time-row MVP Nominee is currently not playing and awaiting a response to the letter she sent to the Liberia Football Association in since July.
