Super Eagles Holds More Threat Than Mohammed Salah-Ahmed Musa

Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa has alleged that his team holds more threat than Egypt star Mohamed Salah ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations opener on January 11.

Mohammed Salah is respected as one of the best footballers in the world and has been in superb form for Liverpool again this season, contributing 16 goals and nine assists in 20 Premier League appearances.

According to the Super Eagles captain the Nigerians has more quality in their squad and highlighted Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze as one of the players that can cause the Egyptians havoc.

“I know everybody will be talking about Salah but if you lot our side we have a lot of players they would be worried about,” he was quoted as saying by All Nigeria we don’t have to think about Salah, they have to think about [our] own players.

“Definitely we don’t have to think about Salah, they have to think about [our] own players. They only talk about Salah but we have Chukwueze, a lot of players from the wings that are more dangerous, so their own defenders too will be thinking about us.”
