Stephane Bombelenga signs for Legon Cities

French forward Stephane Ernest Bombelenga has been signed by Ghana Premier League club Legon Cities during the current transfer window.

Initially, Rene Hiddink, Hearts of Oak’s recently hired technical director, who had a great deal of respect for Bombelenga, had suggested the player to the club’s board.

The Hearts of Oak technical team could not find the player to their satisfaction, hence the agreement didn’t go through.

The 25-year-old attacker’s most recent club was Eastbourne Borough in the National League South, the sixth division of English football, which is situated in the UK.

Looking Cities signed him ahead of the coming season to bolster their attack.

Bombelenga had previously played for a number of English clubs, such as Gosport Borough FC, East Grinstead Athletic, Metropolitan FC, Welling United, and Ipswich Town.
