Southampton agree deal for Kamaldeen Sulemana with Rennes

Southampton have reached an agreement for the transfer of Kamaldeen Sulemana from Rennes for a 25 million Euros fee plus 5 million in ad ons.

The 20 year old Ghanaian winger has reportedly chosen the Saints over Everton as he eyes the English top flight as the next big step of his career.

Despite recent injures, Sulemana remains a great attacking prospect for Southampton after an terrific display for the Blackstars against Uruguay in the second half at last year’s Mondial.

Sulemana joins the saints on deadline day after scoring a goal in 14 appearances for Rennes this season.

He joined Rennes in 2021 after an impressive run at FC Nordsjaelland in the Dutch league that caught the attention of many clubs.

He remains a deadly threat on the counter attack due to his terrifying pace and dribbling ability and Southampton look to revive their Premier League campaign with Sulemana.
