South Africa Star Percy Tau Attracts European interest

South Africa star Percy Tau could be in line to be reunited with his former coach Luka Elsner whom he worked with at Belgian club Royal Union Saint Galloise.

Tau won the Proximus League Player of the Season in his sole campaign under the 40-year-old Slovenian before he went on to represent Club Brugge and Anderlecht in the Jupiler Pro League in the two years that followed.

While he made strides with his career, his recall, upon earning a work permit with parent club Brighton and Hove Albion coincided with a severe lack of opportunities which eventually saw him jump ship for a lucrative move to Egyptian giants Al Ahly with Pitso Mosimane.

And while Mosimane has since left the club, there are talks that Tau will follow with the Red Devils concerned over his injury record, with the South African attacking talisman now out for the season.
