Real Tamale United beat Hearts of Oak in a thrilling game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Friday night to get the Ghana Premier League season 2023–24 off to a successful start.
Since returning to the top level, the Pride of the North have maintained their superiority against the Phobians. RTU’s close victory assured that they had not lost to Hearts in their previous five league games.
With their 1-0 victory on Friday, RTU made sure to defeat the Rainbow Club in each of their previous four matches in the Ghanaian Premiership.
