Richard Kissi Boateng’s header was enough for visitors Berekum Chelsea to amass all points at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday February 20th 2019 at the Accra sports in the Ghana premier league match day 11.
The visitors surely played as wounded lions in search of a prey in their game with hosts Accra Great Olympics at their back yard.
Berekum Chelsea who were the best team in the first half couldn’t find the back due to the barrenness of their forwards but still kept possession leaving Accra Great Olympics with no option than to defend through out the first half ending the half with 0-0.
Berekum Chelsea returned in the second to continue their dominance in the game but psyched their attackers to be more potent upfront which worked for them.
The home side who were still in the defensive business, committed a foul which resulteat at right side of the 18 yard box. Berekum Chelsea’s attack was more potent this time registering the first goal of the game through Richard Kissi Boateng’s header through a Cross that was at him through a free-kick in the 49th minute.
Accra Great Olympics effort to equalise and score another to enable them secure their third home win was proven futile due to their pattern of play which wasn’t enough to create chances for them.
Accra Great Olympics have now dropped to 15th position still holding on to their 11points while Berekum Chelsea have moved up to the 4th position with 20 points after 11 games.
