Sunyani coronation park renovation as hit the rocks due to the death of Chinese by coronavirus.
The sunyani coronation park has not been active for football after it was rejected by the club licensing board committee.
Division one clubs like BA united,Bofoakwa Tano and Young Apostles are now playing on neutral grounds as their home venue.
The Bono regional Director of the National Sports Authority stated earlier this year that,the renovation will cost Fourty-five thousand cedis.
Mr. Kwasi Ameyaw Kyeremeh who is the member of Parliament for sunyani East constituency has revealed The reason why the stadium is still not in a good condition.
Speaking with Nimde3 Fm ,”I was having some discussion with some group of people and I told them my plans that I have for the renovation of the sunyani coronation park. I thought it was secret but was leaked at the end.”
He went to conclude that, the reason why the stadium is yet to be renovated is that,
“It was true but unfortunately, Covid -19 destroyed everything after the Chinese contractors were killed by the deadly pandemic. We are now trying to get alternative means to work on it”
