Referees paid their allowance from match day 1-4

Referees who officiate the Ghana premier league, division one league and women’s football has been paid their allowance from match day 1-4 by the Ghana Football Association.

The Ghana Football Association and Referees Association of Ghana agreed officiating allowance will be paid after every four games at a meeting earlier this month.

Referees in the Ghana premier league have been paid a total amount of GHc129,600 of which GHc 5760 was paid as tax and GHc11,520 paid to the referees association of Ghana.

Referees officiating in the division one league, was paid a sum of GHc207,360 of which GHc 9216 was paid as tax and GHc 18,432 paid to the referees association of Ghana.

Referees officiating in the women’s league were paid a total amount of GHc69,120 of which GHc3072 as tax and GHc6,144 was paid to the referees association of Ghana.
