Raoul Savoy:Your next AFCON will be like the past one.“

The Black Stars defeated Central Africa Republic 2-1 on Thursday, September 7, to earn a spot in the AFCON tournament for the tenth time in a row.

Raoul Savoy, the coach of the Central African Republicans, feels that even though his team had the lead and ultimately lost the game, Ghana’s future in international competition was doomed.

During his post-game press conference, Raoul Savoy declared, “Your next AFCON will be like the past one.”

The player continued, “Of course yes, I think today we played far better, and with the quality of players you have and you cannot do this kind of show, we have small players, most of them playing league two and I think we are far better than you guys.”
