Proud United ends Sekondi Hasaacas unbeaten run in the DOL

Sekondi Hasaacas unbeaten run in the 2020 division one league has been ended by their neighbours Proud United at Sekondi Sports Stadium to loosing to them by 2-3.

Both teams who had a lot at stake in their match day 8 were full of energy on the field of play has they both displayed tactical brilliance on the field. Proud United who played as the home side badly needed the three points to save them from battling relegation while visitors Sekondi Hasaacas needed that three point to fuel their chances of topping the league table.

Sekondi Hasaacas left back Daniel Egyin slotted in the first goal of the game to them in the lead which didn’t last long due to Proud United’s 14 minute equalizer.
The home side added another goal in the 28th minute saw Sekondi Hasaacas trailing for the first time. The home side who were poised to end the first half with a win but didn’t last long in their comfortable lead as Sekondi Hasaacas equalized through Theophilus Nana Awortwi’s cross to Sampson Eduku ending the first half by 2-2.

Both sides came in the second half refreshed and aggressively searching for the winning goal which worked out for Proud United through a last minute penalty ending the game in a disappointing manner for Sekondi Hasaacas.
