Porcupine Tertiary boycott Asante Kotoko remaining Betpawa Premier League matches

Asante Kotoko supporters group, Porcupine Tertiary has announced their decision to boycott the remaining matches of the Betpawa premier Premier League.

This comes after their leader, George Forson, was allegedly assaulted during the team’s outstanding Week 21 match against King Faisal.

The group has been accused of using social media to undermine the club’s efforts to win the league, but they have denied involvement in any power struggle within the club.

In a press release, Porcupine Tertiary stated that their decision to boycott the remaining matches is to protect the lives of their members.

The group’s executive body consulted with their members and agreed that it is not safe to attend the matches, given the potential risks to their safety.

They emphasized that anyone who intends to harm them or their property is guilty of a felony, and that lives are at stake.

Therefore, they will not attend any games until it is deemed safe to do so.

Below is the full official statement by the Porcupine Tertiary.
