“We played better than them” – Enos Adepa

Karela United head coach, Enos Adepa says his side played better than Asante Kotoko and for that matter, did not deserve to lose their Ghana Premier league match day 13 game to them.

Karela United lost 1-0 to Asante Kotoko through their former captain William Opoku Mensah’s goal at the Akoon Park on Friday but Coach Enos believes that his side played better and didn’t deserve to lose the game.

According to him the best result for their opponent Asante Kotoko should’ve been a draw and not a win since they were the better side.

Speaking after the game, coach Enos said ” It’s a painful defeat to us [Karela United], we didn’t deserve to lose but a petty defensive blunder in the first half caused the first goal. Kotoko best should have been a draw and not a victory because we played better than them”.
