Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey says Arsenal are capable of winning the English Premier League title and beating defending champions Manchester City to it.

Partey said this in an extensive interview with Arsenal’s media where he talked about his life in football that started in Ghana and had him star in Spain for Atletico Madrid prior to his move to Arsenal.

After speaking on injuries that have blighted his career, Partey spoke on Arsenal’s chances of turning its position atop the league standings into a first league title win in 21 years.

‘’Last year we did so well, and came very close to what we wanted to achieve. This year we have lots of big players and I know we are capable of doing big things.” Thomas Partey told Arsenal Media

Arsenal finished second in the least season five points behind winners Manchester City after dropping crucial points in the latter half of the campaign.

That drop in form coincided with an injury to Partey who had stayed virtually free of injury in the campaign.
