Nsoatreman FC beat Real Tamale United to qualify to their maiden FA Cup Semi-final

Nsoatreman FC beat Real Tamale United to qualify to their maiden FA Cup semi-final at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

Real Tamale United suffered elimination from this season’s edition of the competition after losing 1-0 to Nsoatreman FC on home soil thanks to a solitary strike by Philip Ofori.

Real Tamale United looked dangerous in the early minutes but the back line of the away side were resolute to prevent them from causing threats.

Philip Ofori gave Nsoatreman FC the lead on the stroke of halftime with a header via a corner-kick effected by Emmanuel Kotei.

Back from Recess, Real Tamale United enjoyed possession. This culminated in the launching of several attacks but they were unlucky upfront as goalkeeper Daniel Afadzwu denied them with magnificent saves.

Real Tamale United threw in more men forward with the introduction of Baba Kushibo, Roland Frimpong and Mohammed Mankuyeli however it couldn’t earned them the equalizer push the fixture into extra-time at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

Nsoatreman FC held on with the 1-0 lead to sail through the semi-final stage of the FA Cup competition.

Nsoatreman FC will face the winner of the quarter-final fixture between Aduana Stars and King Faisal in the FA Cup semis slated for later this month.
