NSA Warns Club Owners And Administrators On YEA Benefit To Sportsmen

National Sports Authority boss Professor Peter Twumasi has issued strong advice to club owners and administrators who intends take part of the money Government has agreed to pay sportsmen.

The GFA and the other federation have submitted names of beneficiaries for the NYEA support to sportsmen. The money will be paid directly into the accounts of these sportsmen.

Professor Peter Twumasi disclosed that all monies will be paid directly into the account of the players and any attempt to reduce the money due them is bribery which the culprit will be dealt with.

“Why would some club owners ask for percentage of this money,the money is purposely for the players.

“The club owners or administrators must be very wary. Any administrator who distort a percentage of this amount or in any way try distorting a share of this money amounts to bribery and will be punished accordingly by the law” He told Kumasi FM.
