NSA Poised Of Cape Coast Stadium Approval As They Provide Work Update

The Research Support and Development Officer of the National Support Authority (NSA) at Capecoast Stadium Alexander Tieku Tieku is very confident that the stadium will be approved by the inspection team today (Monday).

Following the 6th March parade at the Capecaost Stadium to celebrate Ghana’s 65th year of independence, the Stadium’s pitch went in a bad shape.

The Blackstars will use the Stadium for the crucial upcoming World Cup qualifier against Nigeria on 25 March.

FIFA has warned that Ghana may have to choose between Morocco and Benin to host Nigeria.

“Ghana Vrs Nigeria can happen here at Capecoast Stadium, we have done our parts and we are confident that after the inspections from CAF, GFA, FIFA and Sports Ministry this morning all will know” he stated.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) next venue in line will be the Baba Yara stadium should Cape Coast not be approved but Ghana will need CAF to approval.

If not the first leg on March 25 will be played on a neutral ground which will be in neighboring country Benin.
