“No fight burst in Nigeria’s camp” -Super Eagles

Super Eagles has released a statement to deny a fight that was alleged broke out in Nigeria’s camp.

The video of the drama surfaced on social media on Monday, Leicester city star Iheanacho was seen dragging Henry Onyekuru near an elevator in which they were seen after the drama holding each other.

While they held themselves, goalkeeper Francis Uzor was seen recording the scene.

The video has generated reactions from Nigerians on social media with some saying the drama was needless.

A few minutes after the video trended on social media, Super Eagles deny that a fight broke out in their camp as they prepare to battle the Egyptians in group D of the African cup of nations in Cameroon on Tuesday afternoon.

On the super Eagles’ official Instagram handle, the team said the players were only snatching fun.

“There was no fight anywhere, guys were having fun,” the team posted.

Nigeria will take on seven-time champions Egypt, Sudan, and debutants Guinea Bissau in the group phase of their 19th appearance in the Africa Cup of Nations, with the Stade Roumdé Adjia in Garoua the venue for all their matches.
