Nigeria Can’t Set Standards For Us – GFA Speaks

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee member Nana Oduro Sarfo says Nigeria cannot set standards for Ghana to release squad ahead of the crucial match.

The super eagles released their squad for the game two weeks ago but their opponent are yet to announce the squad for the game.

In the midst of off these squad release brouhaha, Oduro Sarfo believes Nigeria can dictate to Ghana what to do.

‘The Blackstars list in our last twenty(20) matches had been released at least a week to the matches.

‘The pressure by Ghanaians demanding the squad is because Nigerian have released their list but Nigeria is not a standard for Ghana so people must be patient, the list will be out at the appropriate time.

‘We are not dancing to the tune of Nigeria, they are just a football nation like Ghana and we are way above them in terms of achievement so we will not allow them to set a standard for us.’

Ghana will host Nigeria in Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium for the first leg on March 25 and the return leg on March 29 in Abuja, Nigeria.
