Mohammed Polo blasts former Black Stars duo

Ghana Legend Mohammed Polo has blasted the founder of the Professional Football Association of Ghana (PFAG) Anthony Baffoe and Sammy Kuffour who is also a member.

Polo dubbed as the “dribbling magician” is often described as possibly the most technically gifted footballer to emerge from Ghana.

The former Hearts of Oak forward labelled Tony Baffoe and Sammy Kuffour as a “joke” and believes that the duo do not possess the necessary privileges to run the Association.

The Legend deemed the formation of the association as irrelevant while slamming the pair for their lack of respect towards him and his playing colleagues.

Mohammed Polo explained: Former players had two slots at the GFA presidential election then suddenly, Professional Football Association of Ghana (PFAG) was formed as its replacement. For what,” he asked

“They are a joke! They do not respect. We (former players) served Ghana (locally) but they served their respective clubs (abroad). How many cups have they won (for Ghana?

“Samuel Kuffuor has disappointed me, you must respect your seniors. Who is Tony Baffoe, what has he done for Ghana? How many times has he played for Ghana? Is he not from Germany before he arrived in Ghana? How can you come and direct us who are natives?”

“He has an opportunity, he is now with CAF but he should not disrespect us. What Kuffuor has done is also disrespect. They don’t respect us.”He added
