“Mbella will stay at Kotoko”- Asante Kotoko board chairman assures

Board Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei has assured supporters of the club regarding the future of Cameroonian forward Frank Mbella Etouga.

According to Dr Kyei, the forward will play an essential role for the porcupines as they embark on the African competition next season and the board will do whatever it takes to retain him.

“Mbella will stay at Kotoko as we participate in Africa, we can’t go without him. We rather need more quality additions, so how can we sell our best player? We can’t let him go, we will do all we can to keep him.”

Mbella who joined the porcupines last season helped to win the 2021/2022 Ghana premier league title with 21league goals and has been linked to make a move abroad in the coming months.
