Match Report – WAFA 1-1 Dreams – Dreams hold WAFA in Sogakope

 

Dreams FC held WAFA to a pulsating 1-1 draw in matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Ibrahim Issah’s strike cancelled out Justus Torsutey’s opener as the two sides shared the spoil at the WAFA Park.

WAFA started the game very well creating most of the chances as the visitors struggled to find their feat.

Justus Torsutey nearly got the opener but his effort went wide.

Dreams FC also had the opportunity to draw first blood but Agyenim Boateng’s effort went wide.

Both sides kept tight until the blast of the first half whistle

WAFA took an early lead in the second half after Nicholas Pepe weaved his way through the defenders before slotting home the opener.

Dreams FC responded few minutes later, Issah Yakubu scored the equalizer with a sublime finish in the penalty box.

Despite both sides creating a lot of chances none of the teams where able to get winner.
