MATCH REPORT: Kumasi Asante Kotoko Put One Past Legon Cities To Secure Their First Win Of The season.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko secured their first win of the season after beating Legon cities fc at the Accra Sports Stadium this evening.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko started the game on a good note by creating all the decent chances in the first ten minutes with Legon cities fc doing little to create a chance.

A 13th minutes goal from former King Faisal football club employee Ibrahim Osman, who connected a cross from left back Patrick Asmah from the right side of Legon cities goal area.

After scoring that goal, Kumasi Asante Kotoko continued the game on the high by creating all the needful chances, but poor display by foward Raphael Ocloo denied legon cities fc from getting the equalizer for the royals.

Kotoko were forced to make an early substitution after the goal scorer Osman Ibrahim got injured and had to be replaced by former Phar Rangers striker Evans Adomako.

Minutes later, Adom Frimpong and Emmanuel Keyekeh got injured and were eventually replaced by new recruits Muniru Muntari and Emmanuel Frimpong respectively.

In the second half Raphael Ocloo had to be replaced by ace Striker Asamoah Gyan who had few of the balls when he came on.

With few chances created by both teams, Kumasi Asante Kotoko held their lead till the end of the game.

For Legon cities fc, their woes continues as they are yet to score from open play after 5 game and are yet to win a game.
