Aduana Stars secured a hard fought 1-0 vin over Great Olympics on match week 26 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa premier league season at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Following Aduana’s elimination in
the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup
to King Faisal. Their only chance of winning silverware is the Betpawa premier league. On match week 26 they were bent on securing the three maximum points to solidify their lead at the summit of the league table. In their way was Coach Bismark Kobby Mensah’s Great Olympics.

Frank Owusu scored the only goal of the game in the 54th minute, allowing Aduana Stars to clinch a crucial win over Great Olympics.

With the win, Aduana Stars have now extended their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings to six points.
