Mariano Barreto referred to GFA Disciplinary Committee

The Ghana Football Association has referred Asante Kotoko’s Coach Mariano Barreto to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA for Officiating comments against Referee Emmanuel Tampuri according to a report by Oyerepa FM

Barreto questioned the level of officiating he’s witnessed so far in the Ghana Premier League, particularly with games involving his side.

He lashed out at referee Emmanuel Tampuri who handled Asante Kotoko’s away clash against Legon Cities last Saturday and suggested referees in the local league can do better.

The GFA has urged clubs and coaches to use the official complaint channels to address their officiating grievances 48hours after the games and stop criticizing match officials publicly.
