Manchester United vs Liverpool Match Preview

Following a disastrous start to the season, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United will host Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Following both teams forms this season the match will be tighter than last season’s meetings between the two English football heavyweights.

The Reds enter Monday’s match as favorites, owing to their 5-0 and 4-0 victories over United last season, as well as Ten Hag’s side’s strong start to the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Manchester United has not kept a clean sheet in their last seven matches, while Liverpool has conceded in each of their previous five games.

Mohamed Salah, meanwhile, goes into the encounter with an impressive nine goals in 10 matches against United.

Liverpool will be without the skills of several key players for the match, with Thiago Alcantara, Darwin Nunez, Ibrahima Konate, and Joel Matip among those missing through injury and suspension.
