Manchester United book place in Fa Cup fourth round after emphatic victory over Everton

Manchester United have booked a place in the fourth round of the Fa Cup after a mesmerizing display at the Old Trafford with a 2-1 win over Everton.

Antony opened the scoring for the hosts with a tap in after just four minutes with a perfect timed cross from Marcus Rashford on the left hand side of the box.

However, ten minutes later, the visitors restored parity after a David De Gea mess in the box with Conor Coady tapping in home to place the Merseyside back into the tie going into the break.

The second half saw Coady find the back of the net again yet this time it was his own goal that placed Manchester United in front after 52 minutes. A quick transition from hero to zero.

Marcus Rashford then fired the hosts to a two goal comfortable lead from 12 yards in the 97th minute to make it seven straight wins for the Red Devils.
