Lille Accept £42m Transfer Bid from Man Utd for Leny Yoro

Lille defender Leny Yoro

Manchester United have reportedly made a surprising  £42m (€50m)  bid for Lille defender Leny Yoro. This substantial offer is expected to be quickly accepted by Lille, considering Yoro has just one year left on his contract.

Real Madrid, aware of Manchester United’s bid, remain calm and have no intention of entering a bidding war for the 18-year-old defender. Confident in their discussions with Yoro’s entourage, Real Madrid believes the player prefers a move to the Spanish giants.

Therefore, they are willing to wait and secure the deal on their terms or potentially sign him for free in 2025, similar to their approach with Kylian Mbappe.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid’s offer ranges between €20m and €35m, significantly lower than Manchester United’s bid.
