Liberty Professionals tames Aduana Stars at recovered Carl Reindorf Park

Dansoman based team Liberty Professionals tamed visitors Aduana Stars at the their back yard in 7 goals thriller that saw both sides exciting the spectators with scintillating goals.

The scientific soccer lads weren’t ready to start on a low note after recovering the original home grounds as they replied visitors Aduana Stars first goal in 13th minute through Alhassan Mubarak in the 20th minute.

The two were level pegged before Aduana Stars took the lead again through Yahaya Mohammed in the 25th minute which didn’t last long before Elvis Kyei Baffour’s 28th minute equaliser.

Both sides came into the second half poised to score more goals but the home side tamed the wild visitors with Alhassan Mubarak scoring his second goal of the day in the 55th minute. The home side continued their dominance as they made it 4-2 against Aduana Stars through Abass Nuhu in the 70th minute.
Kyei Baffour added salt to the injury of Aduana Stars registering his second goal of the day ending the game by 5-2.

Liberty Professionals are now positioned 12th with 13 points on the league table while visitors Aduana Stars have dropped to the 4th place with 17 points on the league table having played 10 games.

Aduana Stars will be welcoming 2nd placed Asante Kotoko in their next game to fight for points that will help them retain their 1st place on the league table.
