Liberty, Nsoatreman, Tamale City and Samartex make DOL Super Cup semis

Liberty Professionals, Nsoatreman FC, Tamale City FC and 1996 Samartex FC have qualified for the semifinals of the Division One League Super Cup.

The off season competition which took off on Tuesday, August 16 at the Kyebi Presbyterian Astro Turf will end on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Liberty Professionals and Nsoatreman FC qualified from Group A while 1996 Samartex FC and Tamale City FC picked the two semifinals spots in Group B.

Newly promoted Premier League side 1996 Samartex FC will do battle with Liberty Professionals in the first semifinal match on Wednesday at 2pm. The Sameraboi based side finished 2nd in Group B where they made 4 points after three matches.

In the other clash, two Zone One sides Tamale City FC and Nsoatreman FC will lock horns in a battle of two newly promoted Premier League sides.

The two teams have qualified for the betPawa Premier League and would represent Zone One in the 2022/23 competition. These matches are scheduled for the Kyebi Presbyterian Astro Turf at 5pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

Defending Champions Skyy FC failed to qualify for this year’s edition as finalist Tema Youth also couldn’t progress from the Group stages.Winners of the two semifinal ties will play in the final on Friday, August 26, 2022.
