Lessons Learnt from Wac’s Game – Samuel Boadu claims

Hearts Of Oak’s head coach Samuel Boadu has stated his charge have learnt quantum of lessons from their 6-1 humiliation suffered at the hands of Morrocan giant Wydad Club Athletic in the Caf champions league preliminary stage ahead of the club’s confedration encounter.

Going into the second leg of the Caf confedration cup playoff with Algerian counterpart JS Saoura, the Phobians leads by two unanswered goals first from the Accra sports stadium.

Reminiscent of Wac’s encounter, the Ghanaian giants went into the second leg with a 1-0 win but in the end, suffered a humiliation of a life time that the best coach of the Ghana premier league season past, Samuel Boadu having Hamza Obeng as the assistant, believes despite the defeat, they as a team have learnt soo much that facing Js Saoura, they’re going to do their maximum best to qualify into the group stage of the competition.

“Going into the return game, I have learnt a lot from the WAC game, so strategically we need to strategize very well for the second leg encounter,” Samuel Boadu said. 

“We will do our maximum best to qualify.

“I urge all Hearts fans to keep calm and this is the time we need their support. They should motivate the boys when things go wrong and at the appropriate time.” 

Match against Soaura in the second leg, is slated to take place at the stade de 20 Aout 1955 stadium in Algeria on sunday, December 5 2021.

Winner on aggregate scoreline, gets automatic qualification to the group stage, perhaps the money zone.
