Kwame Opoku confident of improving Kotoko’s goals scoring department.

Kwame Opoku has set his sights on improving Kotoko’s goals scoring prowess and is confident that his presence on the field of play will guarantee just that for the Porcupine Warriors.

The agile forward asserts that with the different set of qualities each of his striking partners possess, they will be able to form a formidable partnership which could pose a significant threat for any defense in the league.

Opoku showcased his goals scoring abilities during his three weeks training at the Adako Jaachie Training Ground where he scored 5 goals in a preparation match before finally joining the Porcupines.

The new frontman believes that during his brief time with the club, he has been able to form a great understanding with his attacking partners which could see a massive improvement for Maxwell Konadu’s men.

“I believe that my inclusion will improve the striking department,” discloses Opoku. “I have my style of play and so does each of them. It is about giving each other a good complement. I have been with them for some time and knows how to play with each of them. With a good complement of our talents, we will take the club very far.”

Opoku became the first signing for Asante Kotoko in the January transfer window after completing the switch from Nkoranza Warriors on a three-year deal.
