James Kuuku Dadzie: ” The Ghana Premier League lacks quality players”

Former Black Stars player James Kuuku Dadzie insist the Ghana Premier League is very poor due to lack of quality. In furtherance he indicated we shouldn’t be deceived that there is competition due to the points difference on the league table.

The former Ghana international made this assertion in an interview with Akoma FM in Kumasi.

“Hearts and Kotoko are now put in the same bracket with other teams with no difference and that shouldn’t persuade us to think it is due to the competitiveness and toughness nature of the league but rather is because they lack quality players and could only boast of average once just like the other clubs”

The qualities are the same and spread across,ย  Kotoko and Hearts are not ahead in terms of squad quality. This account for why they are not dominating again.

During my playing days, there was quality in our play, we could beat you with ease

Also, we had gifted players, I am the best center-back Ghana has ever had because I was gifted. Mohammed Polo, Asamoah Gyan, Abedi Pele and the rest were all gifted but we don’t see such players in our country in recent times”

The former Black Stars player coached Ebusua Dwarfs during the 2020/2021 season.
