Kudus Mohammed wins Man of the Match Award in Ajax win over SC Heerenveen 

Ghanaian international, Kudus Mohammed was adjudged man of the match in Ajax’s important 2-4 win over Heerenveen’s in match-week 25 of the Dutch Eredivise

The 22 year old continued his blistering performance for the Jews, having netted the opener on the 10th minute before assisting Edson Alvarez to double the score on the 16th minute of the game.

Three minutes later, Steven Bergwijn extended the lead for Ajax with a cool finish before Pelle van and Amersfoort reduced the deficit for the host on the stroke of halftime.

In the second half, Kenneth Taylor made it 4-1 for the visitors on the 52nd minute as a 79th minute goal from Heerenveen’s Van Hooijdonk ended the match in a six-goal thriller.

The 22-year-old enjoyed the entire duration of the game for Ajax and won the man of the match award.

Kudus has been involved in 23 goals for Ajax across all competitions this season, scoring 18 times and providing five assists.
