Hearts of Lions after 8 years of absence has returned to the Ghana Premier League. They were relegated in the 2014/15 season after a disappointing outing.

Heart of Lions Football Club led by Coach Fatawu Salifu in this seasons Division 1 league from Zone 3 has put up a scilinating performance putting them in the position as representatives from the Zone to the elite height of ghana football. They sit top of the Division One Zone three table with 56 points after 24 games with five(5) games to spare.

Congratulations to the playing body, Technical team, and Administrative staff for a project well executed.

Hearts of Lions are known to have produced quite outstanding players for the ghana footballing arena. Players such as Haminu Dramani, John Boye, Dominic Adiyiah, Gladson Awako, Isaac Vorsah, Kofi Nti Boakye amongst others.

The club is a 2 time Winner of GHALCA top 4 Competition in 2005 and 2009 respectively.

There are also the last club to win the Sports Writers Association Of Ghana (SWAG) Cup in 2009.
