Kotoko Were in Talks With Nana Yaw Ampomah to Take Over as CEO – Aide to Nana Yaw Amposah

Aide to Nana Yaw Amposah has confirmed that Asante Kotoko were in talks with Nana Yaw Amposah before the lockdown in some part of Greater Accra Region due to the Covid-19.

Nana Yaw Amposah has been linked heavily with a move to Asante Kotoko as the club’s Chief Executive Officer and his aide has confirmed that talks were ongoing.

Jones Asante Mfodwo indicated that he can’t confirm if the interest still exist or not but the QPR move that was circulating in the media was true.

“Nana Yaw Amponsah is open to the Asante Kotoko job,what I know is that talks were ongoing before the lockdown for him to join Kotoko even before the new board was constituted but I can’t tell if it’s still on but what I can confirm is that of QPR which if not for the closed boders and issues of the COVID-19, he should have started work with the English side”.

Nana Yaw Amposah is the current owner and bankroller of Phar Rangers in the first division league.
