Kotoko to pay GHS10,000 per match to use Len Clay Sports Stadium as home venue

Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko will pay a lot of money to host its home matches at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors had initially planned to use the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as their home venue for the 2024/25 football season.

However, due to the closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for renovation by the National Sports Authority (NSA), the managers of Asante Kotoko have been forced to select a temporary home venue.

According to sources, Asante Kotoko will pay a whopping GHS10,000 for every match hosted at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

All the gate proceeds will go directly to Asante Kotoko.

Following the adoption of the new venue, Asante Kotoko will play its next home match against Young Apostles at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 22.
