I knew C.K Akonnor was the right man for the Black Stars coaching job – George Alhassan

Former Black Stars striker George Alhassan has said he knew C.K Akonnor was the right man for the Senior National team coaching job before being appointed.

He said during an interview with Western region’s ace sports presenter Alex Adu, he looked at all the coaches in Ghana and realized C.K Akonnor was the only person who has improved because of the teams he coached.

“When they hadn’t appointed any coach, I looked at the coaches in Ghana and realized he is the only person who has improved because there are some teams if you are able to coach, you can coach any team and he coached those teams.”

He also added by saying everyone including himself should rally behind C.K Akonnor to succeed.
