King Faisal bank roller calls for suspension of the league due to “corona virus”

The bank roller of King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah has suggested to the Ghana football association to suspend all footballing activities in the country due to the outbreak of the deadly virus corona virus.

On Thursday, 11th March 2020 the ministry of health and ministry of information broke the news of the country recording two cases of the virus.

This news has pressed the panic button for team owners like Alhaji Grusah of relegation threatened side King Faisal to suggest a suspension of the league as human lives are more important than the game during an interview on Otec FM.

“We should all pray that people in our country don’t get infected with the deadly virus (Coronavirus) after two people were confirmed testing positive,”

“The Ghana FA should be considering to suspend the Ghana Premier League and other competitions for weeks or months.”

“I know people will say it’s because my team [King Faisal] is in the drop zone that’s why I am making those suggestions. But we should be thinking of the lives of human first before football.”

“We should follow the steps of other Football Association to suspend our football activities for weeks or months.”
