Kamal Sowah on target against Oud-Hervelee Leuven in the Belgium Pro League

After scoring a late goal against his former team Oud-Hervelee Leuven in the Belgium Pro League on Saturday, Black Stars midfielder Kamal Sowah continued his successful start to life at Standard Liege.

With eight minutes left, Sowah who is on loan at Liege scored to guarantee that the visitors left the King Power at Den Dreef with a 2-1 victory and all three points.

With a brilliant finish, Wilfried Kanga gave the Reds the lead just before halftime. However, the home team answered just after the break through Hamza Mendy.

The Ghanaian international scored Standard Liege’s second goal of the game after grabbing the game-winning rebound.

With the international break coming off later this month, he will be aiming to get a call up to the National team.
