Juventus confirm signing of Federico Gatti

Juventus have confirmed the deadline-day signing of defender Federico Gatti from Serie B side Frosinone.

The 23-year-old underwent a successful medical at the club this morning, and has now officially been unveiled as a Juve player.

A club statement on the signing read: “Physical strength, excellent vision and an acute ability to read the game. This is the identikit of Federico Gatti, a Turin-born defender with plenty of promise.”

“Juventus have bought him outright from Frosinone, and although Federico has signed a contract that ties him to Juventus until 30 June, 2026, he will stay for the remainder of the 2021/22 season on loan at the Serie B club.”

La Vecchia Signora are also expected to confirm the arrival of Denis Zakaria imminently, after the midfielder underwent his medical today. Zakaria is set to join the club as a replacement for the Tottenham-bound Rodrigo Bentancur.
