Just in: Ashgold banned again by GFA: Check reason.

The GFA has announced suspending Ashantigold for the continuous involvement of Kwaku Frimpong and Emmanuel Frimpong in the running of the club.

It means “the club shall lose all membership rights and that the club cannot play in any football competition, including but not limited to the Ashanti Regional Football Association Division Two League.”

Kwaku and Emmanuel Frimpong were banned from football for ten and eight years, respectively, over their involvement in match manipulation.
