Joseph Paintsil Attributes LA Galaxy’s Early Season Success to Strong Bond

Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has spoken out about the strong bond within the LA Galaxy squad, crediting it for their early season success.

“We have a great chemistry,” Joseph Paintsil told The Athletic. “Both wingers have goals, Riqui Puig is scoring and assisting, Dejan Joveljic is also scoring, so it’s something that is really dangerous.”

Paintsil, who joined the Galaxy from Belgian side Genk in January, has himself contributed two goals and two assists in his first seven MLS appearances.

The former Tema Youth player believes the team’s attacking style can trouble many opponents if they maintain their current form and belief.

“We have a long way to go but if we keep believing in each other, I think we’re going to really challenge a lot of clubs with our offensive style of play.” He stated

The Galaxy currently sit second in the Western Conference with 12 points after seven games. Their next test comes on April 14 against Vancouver Whitecaps.
