Joseph Artaamah Laweh Backs Thomas Partey to Join Arsenal

Black Stars defender, Joseph Larweh Ataamah has urged Thomas Partey to join English Premier League side Arsenal.

Thomas Partey has been heavily linked to Arsenal as Unai Emery sees him to be the long term solution to their midfield woes.

Speaking in an interview, Ataamah Larweh who plays with Thomas Partey at national team urged the holding midfielder to join Arsenal for a new challenge and to also diffuse the notion that he can play in only one league.

“For me I will be happy if he joins Arsenal because he has done it all at Athletico Madrid because everybody knows now that there was Partey in Athletico Madrid.

You cannot say anything against him in Athletico Madrid and I think he is one of the best players there, so he has done it all and I think he has to move on for a new challenge to do what he has been in Spain for people to know that he can play in a different league” Larweh said in an interview.
